It’s aim is to bring together information about the history of the field, its current state, and the resources available for students and scholars at all career stages.

The site is maintained by staff from the University of London, which offers short courses for students at all levels from beginner to advanced postgraduate, as well as facilitating seminars and lectures by experts in the field.
